She continued knitting prayer shawls as a member of the knitting group at her church, Sacred Heart Church, West Reading, PA. Nancy was the consummate homemaker and loved baking, sewing and knitting. In her middle years, she played guitar and piano. Nancy loved listening to music, especially Big Band, solo piano and Celtic Thunder. She continued to stay active and was often out on the town having luncheons with friends or attending her weekly senior group.
She hosted formal tea parties and loved playing cards with family and friends, especially rummy. Nancy and her therapy dog Cuddles, enjoyed visiting nursing homes, hospitals and the Spring Twp. She was involved in the Girl Scouts for 30 years as a scout troop leader, organizer and consultant.
